A short horror story I wanted to write about a character i've created, based off of the bestselling book series "Wings of fire" By Tui T. Sutherland. Our main character's name is Ash'End, a nightwing-Skywing hybrid with dominant nightwing traits.

Laura, a suicidal teen who believed her whole life was ruined after been involved in a fire incident which left one side of her face burnt and ugly. As the most perfect senior girl in highschool known by everyone before the whole thing. She tries to move on with all her pains when the world was against her and also fight her phobia for fire. Till she felt how good it was to beloved by someone again.

Pyrophobia: the fear of fire. Internecine: mutually destructive. Inferno: a large fire that is dangerously out of control; hell. Deceive: to mislead with a false statement. Coercion: the act of using force to obtain compliance. Despot: Any tyrant or oppressor. Conjurer: Any person who can use magic. All rights reserved.

A boy who fell in love with the very thing that destroyed him. The thing he wanted most in this world, the thing he chose over his soul mate.

Angielle has had a horrific life. At only nine years old, she is a pyrophobic (for reasons that will not be revealed for a while because I am evil) and has some serious PTSD. She has only recently begun living a normal life and still isn't completely accustomed to it. Although this is a very dark story, it is also about the true meaning of family and getting over your fears. I'm not denying the darkness 'cause this is literally THE darkest thing I've ever even thought of. I mean just off the top of my head it literally contains kidnapping, murder, drugs, alcohol, serious child abuse, swearing (it's something I'm writing for my ELA class so it will be censored), and some seriously intense PTSD. Yeah, this story is not for the meek hearted. So yeah, have fun! My inspiration for this story was a combination of three things. The first thing was the little amount of time dedicated to explaining how Griffin got his scar in "Girl Stolen by April Henry" (If you haven't read this book, you should for it is amazing!). The second thing that gave me the idea was the book "Threads by Ami Polonsky" (Also a must read) and the thing that pulled it together was a snippet from the Michael Ketterer (America's Got Talent singer) family backstory. If you are a diehard music lover and book worm like me, you can probably figure this out in an instant, but if you aren't than you should try to figure this out since I won't tell you for a long time. (Here's a hint. The title isn't ironic)

For a moment, the world seemed to stop. A moment. "W-we'll meet again," Dream said, over the crackling of the violent flames. His voice shook, but remained calm. "S-soon, I promise." "How soon is that?" Dream didn't respond to him. - No matter the life, Dream and George travel together. They always have.

Esmeralda has her usual nightmare about fire. All characters taken from Disney's Descendants and The Hunchback of Notre-Dame.

What is a battlefield but a body? Amelia spent so many nights dreaming of spilling her blood to the moonlight, slipping out of her bones, and slithering into the soul of someone else. She was all bronze and bite. All venom and fistfight. She was the dawn that rose bloody and wrecked ships in its wake, but she was a siren too, somewhere deep in the aching heart of her. Thicket of violet thorn. Oyster pearl gone rogue. All she wanted to do was dance out of her skin into another song not quite about survivors, but still a song where she could lift the knife and say yes as it flashed in the sun. A boy kisses her with chapped lips and there is a small glimmer: a new age made of gold and gossamer, teeth and tongue, his fingertips tracing the curves of her hips and she knowing that she has a home in the wilderness of her ribs, somewhere beyond this. When she will run across the beach, sand sticking to her pink soles and the ocean dampening her calves, she will almost feel like someone else, like lover instead of liver. **WARNING: This is a ROUGH draft. Translated into non-writer lingo: this will probably suck. A lot. When their mother dies in a tragic and unexpected fire, pyrophobic (fears fires) eighteen-year-old Eden and mature fourteen-year-old Brooke pick up sticks and move to the small town of Kingston, where no one knows their names. Soon, Eden gets a job at the local diner to support her and her sister, and they're better off than they'd ever expected. Jo's dad owns half of the properties in Kingston, makes good money, but refuses to let his eighteen-year-old son mooch off of him. Instead, he gets Jo a job at his best friend's,Tony's, diner. With Jo having pyromania (an obsessive desire to light things on fire) it's all he can do not to burn the place down. Eden thinks that no one knows her name, but Jo always thought it had a familiar ring to it. He never mentions this to her as they become closer and closer, until one day, it rips them apart.

When Kaita flees her icy homeland in terror, she vows to spend her days playing her cittern and to only care about finding a place to sleep each night and something to eat each sun rise in the warmer regions of the south lands. After years of successfully completing her goals, an unfortunate accident results in the demise of her beloved instrument and a journey ensues to obtain her new one. Along the way, hidden fears and vicious villains emerge, making the frozen heart she conceals even harder to keep secret. Will the fires of friendship, family, and perhaps even something more thaw or burn our frozen rose?

~ The water flows into your lungs. It fills your body with the strong taste of salt. The tide is strong and tugs you, further and further down into the ocean. ~ Hi there, I'm IcecreamWithKetchup. I wrote all this a few years ago and it's been in the documents on my computer ever since. It's basically a bunch of fears that are mostly all the fear of dying. (Just read it, and you'll see what I mean.) If there was a night you had to choose a way to die, what would it be? You would only have the most nightmarish, deadly choices. Be careful! You can't go back, well let's be honest, it's death. An 11 year old has ten choices, all of which he'll regret... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<>~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I will try to get at least one part a week! Not like this is going to be a big story or anything, but yeah! ;)
