I ship OtaYuri both romantically and platonically, and I don't really have a preference, but seeing as very few fanfics give importance to platonic love, I thought that I would write one that did. If there's one take away from Yuri on Ice, it's that love is a valuable and precious thing that takes place in many forms. This story is off of one of my headcanons that Yuri and Otabek are both asexual and aromantic, and their friendship goes from being very small to being a qpr (a queer/quasi platonic relationship, which is like dating, except without any romantic aspects, and in this case, without sexual aspects as well). Rosie finds out about Alastor's disappearance following the exterminators' retreat, and she sets out to find him-pleading in her heart for him to be alive. When she discovers him hiding away in his radio tower, she immediately rushes to his side, determined to help him heal and give him a safe space to be vulnerable. (I had this idea BEFORE seeing a bunch of fanart about it, so I'm trying to be as original as possible.) (Also, this depicts Alastor and Rosie in a sort of queerplatonic relationship. I don't ship them romantically or sexually.)
