The original (which is still up btw) did well enough despite being how many years old? Either way, I wanted to remake it. This fic is primarily Humming Bird (Qrow X Summer) and I don't care that Volume 9 basically disproved that Theory. That's my story, I'm sticking to it. There will also be other ships such as Bumbleby, Rose Garden, Renora... Stuff like that. Forgive me if I get some story points wrong. You know how long it's been since I've watched RWBY??? This is the first of my "Movie Books". Basicly they're canon stories that take place in-between the major books. this one takes place in between books 1 and 2 whilst Silver and Adam are training with Rhodes. It focuses on Viktor, Weiss, Ruby, and Apollo.

Winter has just started to work for the Atlesian military. She and three others were placed to shadow Qrow on his missions. She's heard so much about him, and she can't wait to work with him. However, Qrow isn't everything she hoped him to be. In fact, Qrow helps Winter understand the work she's signed up for. Through familiarizing herself with Qrow, Winter comes to understand what's made Qrow callous in personality but especially on the battlefield. Disclaimer (Because I have to). As it says in the title, this is a Humming Bird book (Summer Rose X Qrow Branwen). It's also a book about the Dad!Qrow Theory, the theory where Qrow is actually Ruby's father instead Tai. I would like to stress that this book has Spoilers for RWBY although, please DO NOT spoil any of V9 as I haven't finished it yet. Shortly after Qrow's sister, Raven, got together with Taiyang Xiao Long, Qrow himself takes a large risk and begins a romantic relationship with Summer Rose. For a while, everything goes great, until one fateful day that changes Qrow forever and leads to the creation of Team RWBY. Updates at least once a week (aiming for Thursdays). In the event I have enough content for two updates in a week, they will be posted on Thursday and Saturday respectively. The events of this story will bridge the gap between "Semblance of Brutality" and "Slayer of Remnant," and therefore will be considered canon in my own little fan-fictionverse.
