Historias de Quantumscience

this is where I put my random science related thoughts, and, boy, do I have a lot of those.. I am NOT a specialist in any scientific fields. I am merely a guy, who is very interested in scientific topics.

The stars sparkled bright against the clear dark sky; the orange glow of the sunset just barely visible. Families stood on their lawns and watched as shooting stars raced high over their heads. It was just after midnight when people started to notice bands of green light that seemed to dance fluidly from one end of the sky to the other. Everyone was in awe, they whispered and pointed; took pictures and shared them on social media for the world to see. Soon they realized they weren't alone. People from all over the world were posting similar experiences. Most of them thought they knew what they were seeing but, the world had no idea what they would soon be up against.
