protecters. only the luckiest of the luckiest people have them. someone that would protect them from all evil, even if that evil could be themselves. i met mine when i was 8. they welcomed me with open arms and filled this completely unexplained void i had. they gave me their toys and shoo'd all the bullies away and kissed me goodnight. however somewhere inside me i always knew they would be the one for me. i was scared, scared of losing them and loving them and hating them. scared if i fall in love with them, it might ruin things. and god, was i right.
