The world had come to a standstill. Streets were empty, doors remained shut, and people lived in isolation. But for Millie, solitude was nothing new. It was where she felt safest. While chaos raged outside, she found comfort in her own quiet world. Then the storm began to pass. Life slowly returned to normal and Millie allowed herself to dream again. At first, it felt like just another stretch of time slipping by, another silence she had learned to live with. But then, there was him. A stranger who noticed when no one else did, offering quiet kindness in ways she never expected. As the days passed, she found herself wondering. Who was he, really?
