Adam has the perfect grades, perfect attitude and quarterback of the football team. Colby is ten months younger but is also a senior. He doesn't have the attitude that his brother has. He has a temper and he is a cornerback on the football team. Clara Preston is the boys' new football coach's daughter and she is new to the school and gets to experience Colby's bitter attitude first hand. She is the first person to want to see what is underneath and Colby doesn't appreciate this attention.
