The next night after Frollo is forced to raise Quasimodo to pay for his crime of killing the mother, a brand newborn baby girl mysteriously shows up on the foundling doorsteps of the Notre Dame Cathedral. And just like the deformed infant, Frollo gets forced to raise her as part of atonement for the severity of his crime. Neither she nor Quasimodo are aware of each other's existence until one day they both sneak out the festival of fools 20 years later... All images and characters belong to Disney. I own nothing.

Just before Esmeralda's hanging, Frollo decides to give her a last chance to choose him over the gallows. Being devastated from the events, what if she accepts? Mostly based on the book but contains some elements from the Disney movie. Anyone who has read/seen either of them can follow. The first half (chapters 1-23) focuses on Frollo/Esmeralda while the second half focuses on Quasimodo/Esmeralda. This is based off of Hunchback of Notre Dame the Musical. It is the thoughts of Clopin Trouillefou throughout the musical as he watches Esmeralda's actions. They will not necessarily be in chronological order but in several different places throughout the show.
