What if the rebellion failed, the hunger games continued? These are the 150th annual hunger games! To remind the citizens of the failed rebellion the Capitol decided to hide ruins in the arena. Vivus Redis, a seventeen year old boy from district 13, is being reaped. Will he survive and see his best friend and family again? Or will he die a horrible death in the arena? And what's up with all these mockingjay symbols? "Why?!", yells Res as she enters the room. "I told you to not do that! I told you that over and over again!" Tears start rolling down her face again, washing away dust and dirt. I don't know what to say, it's like I don't have a voice anymore, so I just stand up and go to her. Circumstances have undergone a shift this year, making it distinctly different from previous ones. In honor of President Snow's continued dedication to the Hunger Games, he has introduced a novel new tradition to the annual competition. "Every 25 years, Penem shall hold a monumental Hunger Games to celebrate the games in such a way that it shall be unforgettable. Each Quarter Qell, we shall collect the game makers together and vote for a special edition for these games. This year, each district will vote for their own Male and Female tribute to participate in the 25th Annual Hunger Games". In a turn of events that defied all expectations, Nyla Stallard and her lover, Marlon Langston, are both chosen to compete in these unique games alongside each other.

The Capitol Quell is a fanfiction based on The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins. Set during the Fourth Quarter Quell - the 100th Hunger Games - each tribute from every District is paired with a Capitol teenager. Together, they compete as one tribute: twenty-four pairs fighting for victory. Only one pair can win. Two survivors are counted as one victor.

One hundred and one years after the 74th Hunger Games, the year when Primrose Everdeen and Peeta Mellark died, is the 175th Games, and the Seventh Quarter Quell. Two sisters from District Twelve, Margo and Alexia Hawthorne (the Great-Great-Granddaughters of Rory Hawthorne) are reaped to be the Tributes for their district. With the help of their mentor, Kolton Clarke, and a few small alliances, who will be able to make it out alive? TRIGGER WARNING Mentions violence and suicide Obviously, Katniss Everdeen, Gale Hawethorne, Rory Hawethorn, Primrose Everdeen, Peeta Mellark and Coriolanus Snow and The Hunger Games all belong to Suzanne Collins, but this plot line and all original characters belong to me.

The Capitol wanted the districts to choose their own sacrifices. They never expected the answer would haunt them. When District 7 votes in the Briar twins, Asher and Willow are sent into a living forest that changes with the seasons and devours the weak. One twin fights with fury. The other survives by kindness. Neither is willing to become what the Capitol demands. As the arena turns beautiful and brutal, the Games spiral toward a moment the Capitol cannot control and cannot erase. Some stories end with a victor. This one ends with a silence.

Alyssa Grove has hated the Capitol. Ever since her best friend died she has made vow to protect her little sister, Elizabeth, which places her in the 4th Quarter Quell with her boy tribute, Harry Greyson. Both must fight for survive, love, and, of course, for Alyssa, her best friend. She doesn't like Harry but will be civil to help herself stay alive. Can Alyssa survive the 4th Quarter Quell? Can she return to District 11 to protect Elizabeth again? Alyssa Grove has to fight for that freedom to be separated from being harmed again. That's when the gun fire is heard through Panem.

What if Katniss killed Peeta instead of trying to eat the berries? Then president Snow never would have changed the quarter quell. What this quarter quell would bring to 16 year old Adeline will change her forever. On the 75th and 3rd quarter quell to signify the 3 quells already held and the many more to come, there will be three arenas and 72 tributes. The hunger games will be held as usual except when the victor is declared a fresh batch of tributes will be selected. The victor then will be put in the 2nd arena to see if they will live or die. If the victor is dead by the end of the second hunger games then the new victor will 3rd arena. If the victor lives then they will be put in the 3rd arena.
