Jellal Fernandes and Erza Scarlet find themselves in a strange world. Everything around them is completely different from their reality. The people here don't use magic like their guildmates back at home. Only a certain few people use magic. And the energy source feels weird. What is going on?

While on their way home from a 100 year quest, both Erza Scarlet and Jellal Fernandes run into a giant humanoid female creature that has superhuman abilities. They get split up but manage to find each other again, but they then see the same humanoid creature caught in a trap and decide to help. When they to so, they find out that they've just run into the Scout Regiment. After explaining their intentions, the Commander briefly explains to them what these 'humanoid creatures' are and then orders them to come with them, because it's not safe out in the open.
