Winter has away of making lonely people notice each other. Gregory is trying to build a future before life hardens him completely. With a prison job application in one pocket and a pack of cigarettes in the other, he drifts through cold city nights carrying more uncertainty than hope. Then a torn coat pocket leads him into Whitmore Tailors - a small shop glowing warmly against the snow. Inside, he meets Daniel Whitmore. Quietly observant and impossible to forget, Daniel repairs more than fabric. What begins as a simple encounter between two strangers slowly unfolds into something deeper: late-night phone calls, shared silences, unspoken fears, and the fragile comfort of being truly seen by another person. But Gregory's world is pulling him toward something darker. As he steps closer to a career inside the prison system, the weight of violence, isolation, and emotional exhaustion threatens to consume the softer parts of himself Daniel seems determined to protect. Set against snowy streets, dim apartment lights, and the timeless warmth of a tailor shop, The Whitmore Tailors is a deeply emotional story about intimacy, masculinity, loneliness, and the terrifying vulnerability of love. Some things are stitched together slowly. Others unravel all at once.

Fate. Everyone swears it's beautiful. That the goddess knows best. That when she hands you a mate, it's the perfect match, written in the stars. Sounds sweet, right? Yeah, tell that to me-an omega who's spent his whole life being treated like trash by the pack that should've been my family. My father, the almighty Alpha of the BloodRose Shadows, made sure I knew what disappointment looked like before he walked out. My mom stayed, but that didn't stop the whispers, the stares, the hands that shoved me lower every chance they got. Around here, "omega" just means servant. Disposable. Forgettable. Now the clock's ticking. In two days, I turn eighteen. In two days, the goddess will chain me to someone for the rest of my life. My mate. My "perfect other half." Can you feel the excitement? Yeah, me neither. This is my story-of fate's cruel joke, of blood that never protected me, and of the bond I never asked for. Because destiny doesn't always save you. Sometimes, it just breaks you. After losing the person he loved most, Ash believes nothing could ever fill the silence they left behind. But one rainy evening, fate places a stranger in his path-a man who wears the face of someone who should no longer exist. As memories fade and new ones begin to form, grief slowly blurs the line between love and longing, truth and illusion. Because sometimes... the hardest person to find isn't the one you've lost. It's the one standing right in front of you.

Markus Voss arrives twelve minutes early to everything. He has a system for every room, every conversation, every situation that might require him to feel something he hasn't prepared for. The system has kept him safe for years. Then Nolan Crawford walks into his philosophy seminar seven minutes late with a half-destroyed copy of Dostoevsky and no apology, and says out loud the one thing Markus has spent his entire life arguing against - Love should cost everything. Anything less isn't love. It's just a transaction. What follows is seven years. Two men. One argument about dead philosophers that was never really about dead philosophers at all. A slow burn that goes from seminar rooms to coffee shops to shared apartments to the kind of love that has to survive real life - careers, distance, the quiet drift that happens when two people stop updating the map they made of each other. This is not a story about falling in love. It is a story about what happens after. About the cost Dostoevsky was talking about. About whether two people can keep choosing each other when choosing gets difficult. BL | Literary Romance | Slow Burn | Mature The knife stops turning when someone is holding the other end of it.

Being queer in Nigeria today is complicated. Some of us might say we're lucky, while others would argue we aren't. But whether you think we're lucky or not, there was a time when things were much worse. There was a time when women who loved women believed something was wrong with them. A time when not being attracted to men or remaining unmarried could make society label you a witch. Many lived their entire lives confused, ashamed, and afraid because they had no words for what they felt. The Memory of Us was born from that question: What became of those women? It tells the story of Mara and Nana, two women whose love wasn't just forbidden by family or neighbours, but by an entire system that never gave them the chance to understand, let alone live, the truth of who they were. This is a historical coming-of-age drama, a forbidden romance, a family saga, and a second-chance story spanning nearly fifty years. It's a story about love, sacrifice, heartbreak, resilience, and the memories that stay with us long after people are gone. This is my first novel, and I'd genuinely love for you to read it. If you do, please be honest. Tell me what you loved, what you didn't, and what you think I could improve. Every piece of constructive criticism will help me grow as a writer. I hope Mara and Nana's story stays with you long after you've turned the final page.
