The beautiful and kindhearted prince Snow White charms every creature in the kingdom except one - his jealous stepmother, the evil Queen Seraphina. When the Magic Mirror proclaims Snow White the fairest one of all, he must flee into the forest, where he befriends the lovable seven dwarfs. Saul, tormented by the spirit, lies shaking on the floor of his chamber. David plays the harp, sweat running down his face. Saul stares at him, haunted. SAUL: "Do you enjoy making me weak, David?" DAVID: "No, my lord." SAUL: "Then why do you look at me like that? Like you pity me. Like you love me." DAVID: (a beat) "Because I do." SAUL: "Liar." (throws a spear at the wall) DAVID: "You don't believe me?" SAUL: "I believe you belong to him now." (meaning Jonathan) DAVID: "I never did. I only ever belonged to you." ........
