The entirety of District 3 stared unblinkingly ahead, watching as the glittering hand reached into the glass bowl and fished out a slip of paper. To say that the atmosphere was agonisingly still would be an understatement. The next two words that she said, aloud to the whole of District 3, changed my life forever.

Now there is a Quell every other year. The special theme this year is that the Games are for a year.
