A short story I made for class. Hope you guys like it!

A short story based on the Mayan legend of the quetzal bird and how it came to be. The legend says that the chief of the Quiche people finally had a son to become chief after him. The baby was given a prophecy on the day he was born, that would be revealed when he became a man. But the chief's brother becomes jealous, because he thought he would be chief after his brother dies. * This was a prompt that was assigned to me when I did a Faber online writing course. I chose the legend of the Quetzal bird because my father is Guatemalan.

A nice, short poem about peacock feathers I wrote a long time ago. Enjoy!

A full moon. A NightWing dragonet. Mystical powers unknown to even the dragonet. Dusk is a NightWing who was born under the second moon, the prophecy moon. Her parents SAY she has gifts, she must have gifts, but she's not so sure. She once attempted to make up a prophecy, and failed. And so she lost hope. She doesn't really think she's going to have a prophecy. Maybe she won't, even though she DOES have powers, since peace has come. The SandWing princesses and the Darkstalker has been vanquished. Peace has come, and settled in Pyrrhia. But when she departs with her family on a journey to the Ice Kingdom she doubles over and her eyes get glassy. Her mouth opens against her will, and she delivers a prophecy that predicts death. That predicts a new threat to come forth and shake Pyrrhia to its roots. That predicts seven dragonets to save the lives of every single dragon in Pyrrhia. A NightWing, a RainWing, a MudWing, a SkyWing, an IceWing, a SeaWing, and a SandWing dragonet must save the day from a threat that's not even known by most Pyrrhians. Which brings up a question. Are these dragonets alone in saving the world? I DO NOT OWN THE WINGS OF FIRE SERIES!!!!!! I DO OWN ALL CHARACTERS IN THIS BOOK, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF OCs MADE BY OTHER PEOPLE AND THE OCCASIONAL CHARACTER MADE BY MS. SUTHERLAND! AND THE COVER ART! Basically just a collection of one-shots and theories/headcanons for The Sunbearer Trials while very eagerly awaiting Celestial Monsters. I'll first present my theory/headcanon and then follow it up with a one-shot based on said theory/headcanon.
