Pietro had come and hid all three of them under the bed and waited for two days to get out of the broken down apartment. It was then that they signed up for Strucker's experiments, to hopefully get the chance to get back at Stark. While Pietro got super speed and Wanda got mental manipulation, she got the ability to control sand and transform it into animals and other beings.
