Quickstory Stories

My second collection of short stories, but longer than the works in my Read my Shorts collection. This volume consists of anything more than 1000 words and includes new works, re-writes of a few older pieces and anything else I found on my computer that I'd forgotten to post before. It will contain steampunk, historical fiction, urban fantasy, science fiction, fantasy, slipstream, sci-fantasy, horror, paranormal, general oddity and anything else that happens to fall out of my ears as ideas formulate into stories. [A short story set in the Witch Doctors Inc Universe) Vasti of Vortexia isn't allowed to captain a spaceship or lead an expedition. Grand adventures are only for male Vortexians. When Vasti is offered the chance to be the caretaker of a small, uninhabited space station, she finally gets to experience the mysteries of space for herself. But something has been waiting for her. Something that does not belong. Something dangerous. If Vasti answers its call, the world could change. The question is, will it be a change for the better or the worse?

Three snapshots of Jack's life in this short story develop his relationship with his grandmother and his life growing up.

This book contains short imagines that come to my head late at night. I have a few so might as well share them with you <3 this book might update faster than my other books. Maya had never been very good at baking until she decided to try it one last time for a special event and an even more special person, Ben. Was she successful? This short story is a beautiful journey through the bitter-sweet moments of love and of learning that love is indeed, immortal.

"My brother and I hit a deer on our drive to The Cliff Lodge in Snowbird, Utah. The poor creature scampered back into the woods after the impact and my brother being the animal lover he is, went after it to put the creature out of its misery.
