Logan is a little autistic. Logan has been in love with his best friend Chris for years, even if he never fully admitted it to himself. Their friendship goes all the way back to high school, where Chris came in when Logan needed it when he was crying in the bathroom. Since then, they've been close in a way that's always felt like more, even if neither of them said it out loud. As adults, their relationship only grows. There are small moments. Late nights, soft touches, lingering looks that blur the line of friendship. When Chris breaks up with his girlfriend, the tension between them grows stronger, especially after a night of drinking leads to even more feelings rising. Danny, their mutual friend, complicates things further. He likes Logan, and is even a bit manipulative. Eventually, everything comes to a head when Logan and Chris finally kiss, crossing something they can't come back from. They fall into something they can't quite define yet-friends but more than friends. Neither of them have talked about wanting more. When will Logan, or Chris, confess that they want more than what they have now?

It's almost ten years since Komachi Hanaie died. Ise has spent a decade not saying her name. At sixteen she was the most beautiful girl in the school, and the most alone. She answered a compliment about her name by explaining what it used to mean. She told him they would never celebrate each other's birthdays. She was cold, exact, and entirely without fear - and she asked him for one thing. To be the witness. Ten years later he still has not gone to her grave. A quiet novel about beauty carried as an inheritance, about a mother who does not come home, and about the distance between wanting someone and loving them. Complete. 42 chapters. The Art of Loving is not a guidebook, nor a promise of perfect love. It is a collection of moments-where affection begins, falters, breaks, and learns how to soften again. This book is for those who love gently. For those who love imperfectly. For those still learning how to love without losing themselves. The Art of Loving written by: syrynah © All Rights Reserved

Blue Hours on the Shore is a poem series drifts through melancholy like a body learning to float-exploring love that ebbed too soon, memories that salt the skin, and experiences that linger the way the sea does at night. It is shaped by quiet heartbreaks, by moments of loneliness and becoming, where emotions rise and fall like tides, and healing arrives slowly, in waves. Rooted in lived experience, it listens to the ocean as both witness and refuge, carrying grief, longing, and softness toward a fragile kind of peace.

In the heart of Imperial Rome, where marble gleams brighter than mercy and every smile conceals calculation, the House of Severus appears the very image of order. Marcus Flavius Severus governs with reason rather than cruelty. His wife, Flavia Domitilla, commands society with wit and elegance. Castor keeps the household running with unwavering precision, while servants, clients, merchants, and nobles each play their appointed part beneath the watchful gaze of the Empire. Into this carefully ordered world comes Syrus, an unusually educated young slave whose quiet intelligence soon draws the attention of every member of the household. As political intrigues gather beyond the walls, private desires awaken within them. Friendships sharpen into quiet jealousy. Ambition wrestles with conscience. Love becomes inseparable from duty. And each soul must choose what is worth sacrificing in a world where freedom, honour, and affection are never freely given. //NEW CHAPTER EVERY WEDNESDAY//

Two friends sit in the same room at ten o'clock at night. One falls asleep. The other stays awake. When morning comes, both have lived through the exact same nine hours - yet their minds carry completely different histories of the night. This is not a story about time travel. It is a story about the quiet divergence that happens inside us every day - through sleep, attention, and memory. A short philosophical novel about Subjective Temporal Divergence: the strange truth that we can share the same clock and still awaken in different worlds. Copyright © 2026 Shaikh Mo Atta. Rowan never intended to stay. At thirty-one, she makes her living on the road-guarding caravans, escorting travelers, and stepping between trouble and those who can't defend themselves. She doesn't make promises easily, doesn't stay anywhere long, and has learned that sometimes the safest thing a person can do is keep moving. Then she walks into a roadside tavern. A confrontation with a drunken local introduces Rowan to Mara, a hauntingly beautiful server whose quiet strength catches Rowan's attention more than she expects. The next morning, an old herb seller named Agnes approaches Rowan with a troubling story. Three people have disappeared along the same stretch of the north road. No bodies. No blood. Tracks that simply stop. A lantern left burning after dawn. An abandoned cart. And a single boot that no one seems able to find. The townspeople would rather believe in bandits, bad luck, or travelers who simply decided not to come home. Rowan has spent too many years on dangerous roads to ignore the feeling that something isn't right. Now, with Mara at her side and four miles of road ahead of them, Rowan intends to find out what waits beyond the last lights of town. Some trouble announces itself loudly. The worst kind doesn't have to. A Note About This Story This story began as a game. I wanted to learn how to play Dungeons & Dragons, so I asked ChatGPT to play with me. ChatGPT became the Dungeon Master, creating the world, situations, and characters around me. I became Rowan. I decide what Rowan does. I choose what she says, where she goes, whom she trusts, whom she confronts, the relationships she pursues, and the decisions that shape her journey. ChatGPT responds as the Dungeon Master, and neither of us knows exactly what will happen next. After we play, we turn those sessions into a novel together. And, at the time these chapters are being written, neither do we. We're finding out by playing. Welcome to Where the Road Goes Quiet.

Grace Selene has always been good at staying inside the lines. Advanced Placement classes. Perfect grades. Art competitions. Tutoring sessions. A carefully organized future she fully intends to reach, even if getting there means carrying far more than anyone realizes. Steve Rogers has never had much trouble being noticed. Senior. Hockey star. Hawkins High's golden boy. The kind of person everyone seems to know, whether they've actually spoken to him or not. College scouts are watching, his final season is beginning, and everyone already has an opinion about where his life is headed next. Grace and Steve have been circling each other for years. Same school. Same hallways. Same crowded cafeteria. A hundred almost-moments that never became anything more. Until one class project puts them across a table from each other. And suddenly Steve discovers the quiet girl with the sketchbook is funny, stubborn, fiercely talented, and considerably more complicated than the "good girl" reputation Hawkins has given her. Grace discovers there's more beneath Steve's golden-boy smile than hockey scores and school popularity. What starts with research assignments, shared lunches, and conversations neither of them expected slowly becomes late-night phone calls, cold hockey games, paint-stained afternoons, victory fries, family dinners, and the terrifying realization that somewhere along the way, almost became something real. But junior year is asking everything from Grace, and senior year is already pulling Steve toward whatever comes next. They were always going to cross paths. Neither of them expected to become part of the other's plan.

"For him, I would do anything." His silence was what drew Edward in, like a moth to a flame. It enticed him enough to pay closer attention to the boy. His silence was confusing, he never understood it. His silence was comforting, he found himself calm in his presence. His silence was questionable, he wondered why he was the way he was. His silence was unnerving, sometimes he wished the boy would just tell him how he felt and what he was thinking. His silence was saddening, he just wish the boy would open up to him. But most of all,his silence was loving because he didn't need to say how he felt when it showed oh so clearly in his actions. Or In which Edward Cullen finds serenity, love, peace, happiness and a plethora of emotions in a quiet freckled boy. Highest Ranking: #5 In Fanfiction.
