Every summer, the sea brings them back together.
Hanu, a quiet boy from a sleepy seaside town, has always lived by the rhythm of the waves and the scent of salt in the air. Do-hyun, a boy from the bustling city, only knows the shore as a temporary escape. When they first meet, they're convinced they have nothing in common-Hanu, grounded and reserved; Do-hyun, restless and aloof.
But as the summers pass, so do their walls.
From playful dares and lingering glances to deep conversations under the stars, Hanu and Do-hyun find themselves slowly drifting closer. What started as yearly encounters turns into something neither of them can explain-or ignore. And when Hanu begins to feel more than friendship for the boy who only visits once a year, he's forced to confront the tide of emotions he's kept buried.
A tender, coming-of-age story about fleeting seasons, growing hearts, and a love that quietly takes root with each crashing wave. "By the Shore" will leave you breathless, aching, and dreaming of the summer days that change everything.
