Quietus Stories

The cloaked figure's lithe body vaulted over the railing fluidly, whilst his brutish pursuer struggled to follow after his pantheresque prey. The brute remained behind the railing searching for his slinky target. A black personage departed from a larger mass of umbrage, and from it came a brilliant flash of light. Soaring through the night sky, a twirling blade which would land in the brute's throat. The brute staggered backwards, not only shocked but mortally wounded. He struggled there, gurgling blood, and limping about. Soon, after a dull thud, it became as quiet as a millpond, no more gurgling, no more struggling. A sizable man lay on his face, with a knife through his neck. This was the fate of one who followed an assassin.

Mila loves people but everyone that she has loved has left her. She fills the void in her heart with other males but they always end up leaving for their own mates once they find them. The females expressed their threatened feelings to their Alpha and so she was ordered to go on a temporary "vacation." Upset that she was forsaken by her own pack, Mila drowns her pain with alcohol and one night stands. On one of her evening excursions, she encounters a beautifully scarred man on the streets. She is instantly drawn to him as their bond pulls them together. The mysterious man, however, doesn't seem to want anything to do with her but she is determined to not let him go. She's not going to allow another important person in her life to walk away.

"Andria, do you trust me?" Jace asked. Andria almost felt like laughing. After everything they'd been through together, how could she not? The boy needed to come back to his senses. "Of course not." She tried to keep a straight face, but her grin flashed through anyway. Jace chuckled, "Well then, I suppose you'll have to. I think I've found out a route to take down Quietus." Training is one thing, and fighting a real battle with wit and strength another. Often what is seen is not what is true. But what happens when the shadow of doubt creeps among the ones who can change the fate of the world? With the power-hungry Quietus still at large, they are the only ones who can save day. As the past and present unfold in the unknown, what they believe will turn against them.

Based on the science-fiction media franchise "Gundam". This is an original MSG series created by me. If you are unfamiliar with anything "Gundam" related, there is a glossary at the very beginning of the story, for anything you may not understand. It is the Aquarian Age 87(A.A. 87), named for the new technological innovations that have appeared. War in this world has not been a problem for the past 200 years until terrorists occupies one of the various space colonies and claim it as their own. Kit Flagg, an engineer-in-training, was on this colony during this time working on a project, the TGMS-21 "Delenda est" Gundam. As he fights his way through the terrorists, he has many factors to consider. Where to hide his location, where to find supplies to repair the Gundam, trusting his newfound allies.....escaping. Most of all, he wonders why a mobile suit with such immense power was created.
