Scarlett is about to inherit the throne of the Laudis Kingdom and she is trying her best to maintain her everyday commands, but when she is kidnapped and taken to a neighboring kingdom, she is told that her parents, the King and Queen of the "mother" kingdom, were frauds and they planned to take over the remaining seven kingdoms. She does not know whether to betray her family and her people, the ones she loves, or to believe these mysterious strangers who are trying to allign with her to stop the imperializing threats.
