Hi guys, @EsmeGSqualor here, I got logged out of that account and I can't remember the password so this is my new account. I wrote a story over on my old account called Loving Can Mend Your Soul. It was about my favourite ship from A Series Of Unfortunate Events amd I somehow managed to get 1k reads on it!! I have decided that I am going to rewrite the story and try and make it better. The original was written in around June/July 2018 so it is not my best, but now that I am older I feel like I can rewrite it a lot better! I hope you enjoy, feel free to leave constructive criticism in the comments, it would be greatly appreciated and it will help me improve❤️

This story starts in the second season (The Austere Academy Pt. 1) and ends with the beginning of the third season (The Slippery Slope Pt. 2).

This is an ASOUE fanfiction. It takes place during the Vile Village, but Quigley and the reader are at Prufrock.

Beatrice Baudelaire is rushed to the hospital by her husband when she goes into labor, leaving her two children, Violet and Klaus, alone in the Baudelaire mansion. When at the hospital, Beatrice's husband, Bertrand, calls up some old friends to look after his children while they're gone: the Quagmires. - "What if the Quagmires and the Baudelaires (minus Sunny, for obvious reasons) met before Prufrock Prep/the Mortmain Mountains?" Welp thats what this fic is about so knock yourself out. PG-13 for some minor swearing. Consists of fluff in the beginning but toward the end we deep-dive into the characters and it gets, well, deep.

I am here to tell you what happened after the Baudelaires and Beatrice II set sail for Briny Beach. I cannot tell you much but it involves an unexpected encounter with a lost relative, a man with hair but no beard and woman with a beard and no hair (or vice versa) and of course, the search for the stolen sugar bowl Wanderlust is a word which here means "a lust for wandering;" but if you have read the exceedingly long novel of Leo Tolstoy entitled 'Anna Karenina' then you know that a rural life of moral simplicity, despite its monotony, is the preferable personal narrative to a daring life of impulsive passion, which only AND always leads to tragedy. If anyone asks you "Is a safe life really enough?" Take my advice. Look away from this sad tale. And answer yes to the person who asked you. a girl named Riley who has been living with count Olaf since she was five and then when the Baudelaire's show up they all tell mr. Poe what had happened he never listens then they go to Monty's then after he dies they go to prufrock Prep but riley forgot something at Monty's goes back and finds qugley takes him to the school where he finds his siblings.

Klaus, Violet, Sunny and Beatrice Baudlaire find themselves on a boat sailing to start a new life, but when danger seems to return can they survive and find a happily ever after?

What happens to the Baudelaires and Quagmires when they finally get the chance to live a normal life? Isadora most definitely does not like Klaus. Mae will have a panic attack if she finds out Duncan likes her back. Violet and Isadora have way too many sleep overs. Oh yeah, and there's that race Klaus and Isadora can never seem to finish. The Baudelaires and Quagmires have been adopted by two different families that live across the street from each other. They are put into new schools and make new friends. These are the diaries and journals the kids write in their new life, when the only drama around is who likes who and deciding which collage to go to.

This story does NOT crossover with my other ASOUE story. The cover girl is the Fourth Quagmire. Charlotte Quagmire. I'm probably only going to cover The Austere Academy, but if I get more inspiration I'll do the other books. If I end up doing more books I'll write the whole thing first.
