This story takes place in a universe where it is not forbidden for the Jedi to love and raise a family. Kora was much stronger and more intelligent than most of the younglings her age, except for one. That youngling's name was Obi-wan Kenobi. He and Kora would soon grow to be great friends and friendly competitors. One mission with Kora, Obi-wan, and Master Qui-Gon Jinn has Kora questioning everything the code had taught her. Val-Rosea, known to most in the galaxy as simply Rosea, is one of the most powerful Force-wielders in the galaxy - and she's not a Jedi, even though she often fights alongside them. She was too old for Jedi training when she was found by Master/padawan pair Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, but that didn't stop Master Qui-Gon from helping her to hone her abilities as he taught his own young padawan. Ever since that day, when Qui-Gon Jinn allowed Rosea to join him and his padawan when they left the forests of Hydros (her home), Rosea hardly left the Master Jedi's side... until her long-time mentor and friend is killed and the master's padawan rises to meet the expectations now placed on him, as a Jedi Master and as a teacher himself.

A few years after young Anakin gets sent to agricorps, Palpatine is discovered to be the sith they were looking for all along. The council, recognising their mistakes sends QuiGon and Obiwan to find the chosen one. Anakin however, has not forgotten his rejection and holds a deep grudge towards the jedi. He has promised himself to not go quietly and without a fight.
