The Emergence Arc (the first three stories) has concluded. If you want to read this story, please read the first three stories -- Jason, Michael, and Omar -- beforehand, so you may understand the context and characters of this story. A week has passed since Omar attained his powers and Bianca hasn't shown herself since. In her absence, Jason wonders about her: who was she before she changed, how did her father change her, and was there any way to change her back? All the answers may be in Bianca's father's journal, which remains in the tower Jason and his friends had gone to that first night, where Abel discovered the truth about his father. In search of the journal, they return to the tower, which holds a presence that terrifies Bianca, but also a familiar face. Alongside a friend of Captain Abel Jennsen, the four look for Bianca's father's journal, having to deal with the entity which frightens Bianca so much.

After the defeat of Unicron, the Thirteen Primes are tasked with guiding the coming Cybertronian race. After a shocking betrayal, Cybertron becomes divided. Simultaneously, a new threat emerges from beyond the galaxy. However, both sides are pawns in the greater game at play.

This is the third story in the "Quintus Crossings" series. If you have not already, please read story I (Jason) and story II (Michael) before starting this one, as there are many spoilers for those two stories in this one. Omar is annoyed. His best friends and roommates, Jason and Michael, have experienced life-changing adventures with the ghost who "haunts" their apartment, Bianca. While he has been present for their first reality-hopping journey, he wants to do more. Now, with Jason and Michael still injured from their previous adventures, Omar is the only one capable of playing with Bianca tonight. She brings him to a forest in another world, filled with creatures that feel like they belong in myth. There, she gives Omar a series of challenges that Omar must overcome if he is to beat her game. To win, he must learn the ways of the creatures. Only by doing so can he prove his worth to any who might challenge him, and to himself.

After the events of the previous night, Michael is shaken. Having been surrounded by death and destruction, Michael is terrified of the blue apparition "haunting" his apartment and wants nothing to do with her. His hopes are frustrated when she sends him to a completely different world by himself. Instead of a cold, barren wasteland, Michael finds himself in an air fortress inhabited by people in the midst of war with those who live on the sea. In order to escape this war, Michael must prove himself to the ghost he hates so much. Only then will she bring him home. "Michael" is the second part of Quintus Crossings' "Emergence" arc. If you wish to read, then please first read the first part, "Jason," as there are many spoilers for that story in this one.

But once in this new world, Jason and his friends are immediately imprisoned by a sea captain obsessed with the girl and his band of mercenaries. Jason learns of alternate worlds, has run-ins with various mythical creatures, and discovers more of the mystery surrounding this strange, shining apparition who "haunts" his apartment, all in the hopes that by her game's end she will send him and his friends home. "Jason" is the first volume of the first arc in the "Quintus Crossings" story, which will have five arcs of three stories each.
