Dr. Harleen Quinzel is a blue eyed, blonde haired psychiatrist who, all her life, has only wanted to help people. Returning to Gotham City after 12 years of studying in Metropolis, she has a new job at the infamous Arkham Asylum. The last thing she expected was to fall in love with her patient and she definitely wasn't planning to be the queen of Gotham, running crime, at his side. She's always lived with her loving aunt in New York City, but after a few unexpected life changing events occur, will Gotham become Lucy's safe haven and final chance for the future she's always dreamed of? Or will it drag out the worst in her in the most painful way possible? -I've also began another story connected to this one, same characters, similar if not better storyline! Twenty-four year old Harleen Quinzel had a promising career as a psychologist who spent much of her time working with the criminally insane at Gotham City's Arkham Insane Asylum. Harleen meets a patient unlike anyone else, and he changes her life forever.
