Izumi and Katsuki Bakugo are siblings. Both were 4 when they awakened their quirks. He could create explosions from his palms while she could create them from the soles of her feet. That was when they learnt the truth. That woman in the picture was Inko Midoriya, Mitsuki's childhood friend and Izumi's birth mother! Not only that, Inko was never married but opted for sperm donation, which Masaru Bakugo volunteered for. Despite the shocking revelation, both still saw the other as the sibling they grew up with. He left his parents and snuck into a empty apartment and stayed there until he was 13 where he had started volunteering or things and they started to give him money even when he was volunteering. He then spruced up his apartment so the outside looked terrible but the inside looked normal. His mom ended up getting drunk one night months after he left and she died.
