After being left behind by All Might on the rooftop, Izuku starts to see the world in a different way. He realises he doesn't need to be a hero to save people. A vigilante will do. And Aizawa is a tired caterpillar who cares too much for the kitten who roams the streets.

Midoriya Izuku becomes a vigilante. Maybe it's the hero complex, maybe it's the guilt, or maybe it's the ever growing need for a hero to stick up for the little guys; none of that matters, except for the fact that he's there. And he's going to save them all. "Them", notably being the insomniac we know and love, Shinsou Hitoshi, the mechanic, Hatsume Mei, and our resident pretty boy, Todoroki Shouto.

Animals didn't care if he had a quirk or not. There's a kid on the roof. Shouta jumps the last bit to it and lands silently, approaching the green figure there, mentally trying to gauge if they're at risk. They're leaning casually on the railing and an All Might backpack is on the ground next to them as they watch the world below. "Hey kid, you good?" There's a squeak of surprise from the kid and they turn, face brushing through a thousand different emotions before settling on surprise. "Hello!" They flush red and bow awkwardly. "Sorry if I disrupted you!" "Nah, you're fine. I was just concerned to see a.." Shouta sees the grade school jacket neatly folded, a pair of bright red shoes stacked on top next to the bag. "Kid up here alone without his shoes on." The kid goes pale and then he's bowing lower than the first time, stuttering out more apologies. "Oh god, I swear it doesn't look like that! I was just taking them off because a few kids in my class dumped my bag in the fountain outside our school and I forgot to take them off when I was going in and this roof is sunny so I was using it to dry everything, I'm so sorry if you thought I was going to jump!" Barely a year after becoming the top operative of his department he disappears back to his own time, back to his own age, but with every skill learnt still intact. It's Midoriya. Izuku Midoriya. And he's got a licence to kill.

Ever since the dawn of Quirks, the Quirkless minority felt scared of their changing world, oppressed, and eventually prejudiced against. The term "Ultimate", is a title given to only the most skilled teens and adults, people with such supernatural ability- no talent that it rivals a Quirk. It was invented for the one purpose of creating a more equal society, since the title "Ultimate" is only granted to Quirkless individuals. Heroes and citizens alike, need to learn, Quirkless does not mean "useless" "weaker than" or "helpless". It's just biology and they can break past that with their own unique qualities and talents. Now 28, he lives a peaceful life working as a janitor in a special prison made for containment for highly dangerous criminals. An escape from a prisoner leads to a change in his work schedule, where instead of just cleaning the usual cells he must also clean Shinsou Hitoshi's. Unfortunately for him, his kindness sparks an obsession within the mind-controlling killer.
