When Zayn Malik went to go visit Annabelle Gossamer an eighteen year old girl dying with breast cancer, he felt drawn to her in way that made him come back for more. He thought they were just harmless visit and everyone else thought so, too and thought he was being nice to the dying girl. Zayn was thinking the same. I'm just being nice, he tried to convince himself. He expected to like her and care for her somewhat--what he didn't expect was to fall in love with her. Meet Annabelle Gossamer. She was your average girl--sort of. Her mother and her grandmother had both died of breast cancer before her and she spent her whole life waiting in fear that she would get it too. She hoped the cancer gene would skip her, but unfortunately it didn't. She never did get a sweet sixteen because she spent the past two years in the hospital battling this disease. When the Make-a-Wish foundation decides to grant her a wish, she only wants one big thing and one small thing. She wished for her hospital bills to be taken care so her father won't be in debt if she dies and she'd always wanted to meet One Direction. One of the members takes keen interest in her visits more than he has to. Annabelle doesn't mind--she'd always liked Zayn Malik and thought he was the cutest in the band. But that's all it was--like. She didn't expect to fall in love.
