Kaitra isn't buying it. Traugott, a soldier in Cadfael's army, has rubbed her wrong from the first moments in this world, and Kaitra cannot keep away from him. But a neighboring threat is rising, looming over this quiet and peaceful country and it's human, centaur, pegasus, and elvish inhabitants.
