Detroit 2038 Emily is a crime journalist. Her purpose is to find the truth so when she hears about androids becoming deviants, she starts to investigate this case. Soon, her path crosses with RK800's and they both try to discover the truth behind the rA9. When they formed a partnership, however, they did not expect not only to reach the person responsible for the creation of rA9 but both of them to discover what it means to be human.
