Random one shots I've written. Some have to do with different fandoms I'm a part of such as Phantom of the Opera/Love Never Dies, Newsies, Heartless, Gilmore Girls, etc.

When something unexpected happens during the newsboy strike, will Jack and the other newsies be able to fix the situation? How will they react when they find out that helping some of their brothers is going to be harder than they thought? And will Jack and David be able to help when they hit bumps in the road? A quick note: I started this (3/7/18) when i was a sophomore in high school, so my writing isn't at all up to par. Constructive criticism is appreciated! So, basically, I'm going to be writing various Newsies character/actor oneshots and putting them in here because I'm trash. There will be a good mix of both x reader and whatever ship I may decide to write in, or what any of you guys suggest! Not gonna lie, it's gonna be a lot of Ben Fankhauser x reader. Due to the two recent strikes in New York, life has been pretty different. The Newsies had been granted everything they had wanted from the strike, including Sundays off work. To celebrate the start of the new century, Jack Kelly and the Newsies agreed to take on new kids. Starting out small however, the group took on their first set of girl Newsies. Jasmine Kelly, and Dottie Conlon. They girls were the sisters to Brooklyn and Manhattan Newsie leaders Jack and Spot, and both refused their brothers help when they were sentenced to three months in the refuge. The girls ended up being released early, and were reunited with their family members. Jass (Jasmine) and Dottie has been best friends since they could remember, so when Dottie made the desicion to live with the Manhattan Newsies, things took a turn. Little did Dottie know, her heart would turn even faster...

It's a hard-knock life for Y/n Y/l/n with her abusive father. Until one night, she escapes. She finds the newsies and suddenly, her life turns upside-down. Her attitude gets her a new name and acceptance as a newsie. Until one day, she is thrust into a whirlwind of price wars, strikes, love stories, and everything else. It's like a story from a fairytale. But...fairytales always have a happy ending, right? (I'm no good at descriptions or titles, so bear with me please!
