What happens when the famous king of Brooklyn, Spot Conlon falls for a Middleclass, tough school girl? When your a middleclass teenage girl in 1899 your one of two things. If your an orphan your a sweatshop kid but if you have parents your a school girl. Its quite simple, if you can afford school you go to school if you cant you work. Luckily I (or my parents) can afford school so thats why I go. Its ok I guess I do get in trouple alot but my best friends are always there for me, they are Nancy and Clara im Michelle but call me Mich and in school we are known as "The Golden Girls" I dont really know how that works since golden usally means good and we get into fights and trouple every other day but that is what are classmates call us. We are very popular among are peirs im popular because in Tough Pretty and can beat someone up in seconds if they say the wrong thing Nancy is popular because she is Funny loud and extraverted and Clara is popular because she is Kind loyal and smart so together bacicly the whole of New York knows us which is kinda awusome

Brooklyn Kelly, Jack Kelly's little sister, is a performer at Medda's theater. She is dating Ezra Landon, a fellow performer, and has been for about a year. She believes that things are steady between them, and even thinks they will be married within the next few years, until she discovers her boyfriends terrible secret. Filled with grief and sadness, she stops performing for a while, wanting desperately to get away from Ezra. Instead, she busies herself helping her brother and friends prepare for the newsies strike. And that's when she meets the life-changing Spot Conlon. At first, she fears falling in love with him, not wanting to go through the same thing with him that she did with Ezra. But she soon realizes that not every boy is like that, and begins to fall in love with the boy with red suspenders.

It had been a few months since the Newsies won their strike against Joseph Pulitzer and things had finally started to go back to normal. For most of the Newsies that was anyways. Two of the Newsies, Specs and Romeo had their own problems that they were dealing with. Both were hopelessly in love with the other and were convinced that the feelings were not mutual. In a time where being gay is illegal, will they give up or will they find joy in an illegal romance?

Knifes Kelly a very feared newsie besides spot witch is her best friend real name is Madison Sullivan but people know you as knifes/Madison Kelly one day the strike comes up and she starts catching feeling for her best friend. A/n
