Max Caulfield has had a strange few months. She discovered she had time rewind powers, solved the disappearance of a missing teenage girl, and saved her best friend Chloe Price, and her town Arcadia Bay from a storm. Max quit using her powers, but she starts having visions of a familiar, fierce girl, that's supposed to be dead- Rachel Amber. Chloe and Max try to make sense of the visions, and find out the true story about what really happened to Rachel.

Hello all, How are you? I'm well in advance. Some of you have been asking for a rewrite of my version of Rachel's last hours, and after playing through Before The Storm, heres what I've put together. I hope you enjoy!!

A friend of Rachel invited her to a Vortex Club party at the Blackwell Academy. She decided to send voice messages to her beloved and letting her know how she's doing to make her love trust her friend, Nathan, again. Though, it isn't that easy handling a party on your own especially being the most popular student at school.

Rachel Amber, the radiant beauty of Arcadia Bay, is about to embark on a journey that will take her far beyond the borders of her small home. But behind the gleaming spotlights lurks a dark truth. On weekdays, she's at Blackwell-fixing broken lights in the theater, rolling dice with Mikey and Steph, pretending everything's fine. She listens more than she talks, cracks the occasional dark joke, and keeps people just close enough. Close enough to laugh. Not close enough to notice. On weekends, she goes home. Back to grease-stained hands, the hum of her father's mechanic shop... and the kind of silence that bruises louder than anything else. He never touches her face. Not since her mother died. „So, Max, what are we doing here?" Rachel asked, deciding to break the silence, even though it had been Max who had asked her, and only her, for a meetup at the junkyard. "We're friends, aren't we, Rachel? And friends can be honest with each other, right?" "It's a 'yes' on both accounts, Max. We are friends. And you can be honest with me". Max inhaled deeply and spoke: "Sometimes people start out as friends, but as time goes on, they become something ... more. They fall in love". When Max said the word "love", she blushed red as a hibiscus flower and broke eye contact with Rachel for a while. "Max, what are you trying to say?" Rachel asked softly. Max composed herself and decided to rip off the band-aid. Looking Rachel in the eyes, she continued: "I know I'm prying. But I need to know what's between you and Chloe. I need to know how you feel about her. Because I'm in love with ..."

Two different and also the same souls are staying in the storm on the edge of the cliff by the lighthouse and slowly watching the tornado which makes its way to their town where they grew up. Max has to do a difficult decision of sacrificing Chloe, but after this mistake, she's trying to find out another possible way to fix everything and save her. Would the partner in time meet his partner in crime again? Or Max will use her power and fuck up something? Maybe both... who knows. P.S. I do not own any of these characters or the game Life Is Strange :3

Set in the alternate timeline introduced in Episode 3 of the original LiS: Max has it all. She's the Queen Bee of Blackwell, she's got friends and everyone at the palm of her hand. But she's missing one thing, and he despises her. Chloe is on the road to recovery, but she needs a little help. It just so happens that help comes from the most surprising places.
