I deleted my other Rachel/You book because I really didn't like the way it was going, so here's what I'm going with. Rachel Berry, the star of Glee Club. She gets almost every solo, she's unbelievably talented. Y/n is one of the background kids, never has a solo, no one really knows her name, shy, never really sings on her own, and Rachel's neighbor, even though Rachel never noticed. Y/n can play the guitar, bass, lead, and acoustic, the piano, and the drums. She can sing, rap, and dance too, but still no one notices her, and she's okay with that. What happens when Mr. Shue encourages her to sing in front of the class and a certain Israeli girl takes a liking to her and starts trying to break Y/n out of her shell. Y/n didn't see the point in trying to hide her sexuality from people, so when someone asked, not that they ever really did anyway, she told them she was an out and proud lesbian. At some point during Rachel pestering Y/n, Y/n developed a crush on Rachel, who was with Finn. Soon enough, Y/n mustered up enough courage to sing to Rachel in front of the Glee club. When Rachel denies her by telling her she's in love with Finn, Y/n pushes her away hurting both her and Rachel an unexpected amount. Due to Rachel being with Finn, she didn't think she could love anyone else, but an unexpected relationship is waiting to blossom, and it's lying right under their noses.
