LCS is a non-profit organization that was founded by Katherine V. Batten in 1949 to meet a growing community need for out-patient occupational and physical therapy. This is a 1940s Humphrey Bogart-esque telling of the story of how LCS was established and how it has grown into the organization it is today, which now provides training and community engagement for youth and adults of varying abilities to enhance their self-esteem and quality of life.

Old Town San Diego is home to many ghosts. One or more live in Racine & Laramie the 1867 historic reconstruction of the tobacco shop that was originally at that site. It was first the home of the Rodriguez family and part of the first 10 buildings in the town. The adobe home was built before 1843 and turned into a store in the 1860s. There's history a plenty for the presence of ghosts.
