Poem I wrote during my insomnia when I was having racing thoughts.

just the things i write down in my notes when my mind rages

"When you think Tim McGraw..." if you can imagine my horrible singing, actually I'm not that bad of a singer... but I digress. This piece was inspired by "Tim McGraw" by Taylor Swift. I was listening to that song on my way home from my aforementioned weekend in Tennessee, and it got me thinking. Here's what I came up with.

Emma is feeling like a total mom, and she's low-key loving it. But then she wonders... who does that make the dad? Now she can't sleep, and Ray is definitely watching.

This book will contain everything that I felt over the years I got back into writing. You can judge them all you want but this is me and how I feel, no one can't change that.

Racing thoughts

All the Little Thoughts was the first poetry book that I published here. I tried to submit it to a publishing house, hoping to be considered. Unfortunately, I've received the saddest email today informing me that my manuscript was not chosen. The first poem posted in this book was made hours after I received the email. The succeeding poems will be based on my daily life experience, or just my random imagination. Striving for another 200 pieces. x E
