So, overall, not much different from the other people in the Latvian Exclusion Zone. He earned the respect of his fellow stalkers and the disrespect of the people who label those in his position as criminals. He spent a third of his life after finding his place in the Zone trying to search for his ex-wife. Though those attempts proved fruitless. ' Until one day, a bounty hunting job leads him to discover something he was never meant to see. Documents proving that she, his ex-wife, the woman he still loves now, might still be alive. His obsession is reignited, and finally his life has a purpose beyond taking jobs to stay alive. But his discovery is not only his own. The people in power, the ones that had failed him so many times before, have decided that his discovery is theirs. Will his unofficial VDV training from Alexei, his lessons from the Zone, and experience in civilian division of the Latvian military be able to keep him alive long enough to discover where she's gone after all these years? Then Hot shot is diagnosed with Medulloblastoma a type of brain tumor that is brain cancer. Hot shot is brave and ready to fight his cancer head on with his stuffed Rhino Roxy who he got as a present. Hot shot makes friends with four other kids his age with the same type of cancer. They decide to fight their cancer together and become the best of friends. They are determined to win too! (Humanized)

Heatwave and Quickshadow are a happily married couple and they live in Fort Worth Texas. Heatwave is a firefighter and Quickshadow is a pediatric oncologist who works at Cook Children's hospital. They are happy with their life and soon they have a son. They name him Hot shot. They love Hot shot very much. Hot shot is growing into a very happy and active child. He loves to run, jump, climb and play. He is now five years old. Hot shot soon begins to feel unwell in May. Hot shot is wondering why he is feeling so bad. He has a headache that won't go away, he is vomiting, he is tired, and he is cranky. He is feeling so bad one night his parents rush him to the ER of Cook Children's hospital. There Hot shot is admitted for being sick and was in a lot of pain. A hospitalist who is caring for Hot shot is worried and decides a scan is needed. The next morning she sends Hot shot to get an MRI. Then Hot shot is discovered to have a brain tumor. The brain tumor gets a biopsy sample. Then Hot shot is diagnosed with Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor or ATRT a type of brain cancer. Hot shot is ready to be brave and fight his cancer. He makes friends with seven other kids in the hospital with the same type of cancer. They become the best of friends and decide to fight their cancer together. Hot shot is determined to kick cancer's butt. (Humanized)

Life in the Wastes is about a 19 year old man has to run away from his house when his father kills is mother. This is related to the fallout series but takes place in texas.

In the year 2120, a wave of radiation was seen by Scientists, and all the bests in the world came to the point that the wave was hitting earth 7 years from that day. The presidents of all countries came together to find a solution to save the human race. They came out with several solutions: Several Space Stations, Cryonics, Bunkers, Under Water Bunkers and Buildings with anti-radiation systems. Population was warned, but instead of giving them a " death sentence ", the presidents decided to give them hope. Some of the presidents decided that they would stay on earth, as they should not leave the country and the people left behind, and so they give the power of the presidency to their sons or daughters that had they're place chosen at safety by the presidents. Families say goodbye as they leave their loved one's behind. The end of the world is here and a new journey begins to the ones who were saved.

After a nuclear war that whipped out well over half of the world, a group is exiled from the safety of one of the nuclear shelters.

Hundreds of years into the future and humans once again have a war with each other. The result is a gloomy world of sorrow, poisoned with radiation. A lone survivor comes across a technologically advanced bunker, but what he finds inside is something he never thought could be possible.
