It is said that for every species of living organisms, there are a specific pair of equal but opposite existing souls within the populace of the others in its own species. This is known as the Anima Libera Prophecy; in which the brightest of the two very special souls regulates life within its own species; controlling the amount of years another lesser soul endures before its departure of his embodied host. As the darker soul regulates what is to become of a soul in the afterlife. They are known as the Watcher and the reaper. This prophecy is believed by some to be what regulates all life. These pairs chose their hosts; whomever seems purest and most worthy. The hosts of these souls are and may forever be totally unaware of their true potential. Just think; a pair of beings from every living species and race on Earth - completely bliss of what they truly are. If a host were to die, the prophesied pair would move on and find a new worthy host. As it is in human nature, war has struck. This time, wildlife plays a crucial role in the casualties. This is the first part of a sci-fi type of story that I started writing a little while ago, inspired by the song "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons. Part 2 coming soon! :)

That night i fell sleep... i dont know wether what i dreamt was a memory ar just a dream. But it seemed so real. I was about 7 in the memory. And there was the general injecting me with my usual medicine. He said that i needed it for strength and that it'll help me control my ... abilities... my 7 year old self believed that. But i didnt. I knew what it was for. It was to make sure that the device that they've implanted in my palms and forearms would work effectively. But a 7 year old would believe evrything right? Yhere was another man standing infront of me. He looked scared. He was afraid of me. "No try it on him" the general said. I knew what he was talking about. My abilities. Not the device they implanted on my but my real ones. I screamed out a loud no. Tears falling on my cheeks. He pulled out a knife and started slowly pressed it against my back. I shrieked as i felt the cold metal penetrate my clothes. He was going to cut me. This time I let the energy course through me.

Imagine if all of Australia was bombed. Imagine if it was cut off by all other countries. Imagine if you were living In The Wastelands.

One person sets off to find if their childhood memories are real. The family along with 700 other people live 10,000 feet or more underground to avoid the radioactivity of the Above, but the only way to see if the memories are real, is to go Above... How to get there? Nobody knows.
