A story focusing on two main characters that is set in a post-apocalyptic world in the year of 2030. One is a leader of a survival group, the other is just a teen who was trying to survive. This story also shows how sometimes in apocalypses, infections aren't always the only problem.

Nova Jone's life changed dramatically upon discovery that she was the long-lost daughter of notorious pirate, Dahjlonica, and the former delinquent orphan became a pirate princess. She and her father made a profitable living raiding shipments between worlds, especially from the Hahn family, the most ruthless of warlords that rose after the Sol Commonwealth abandoned the Orion Outlands and consolidated within the inner worlds. Nova had a high price on her head. And as if that wasn't enough, the Commonwealth were coming back to reclaim the Outlands, and they had little regard for piracy. Elite Ranger Jake Barton led the way, with orders to eliminate Nova Jones. But as he tracked Nova, doubts grew in his mind. Who was the true villain?

Believe or not, Skylar Lewis was fine being overshadowed by her super strong older brother Jack. She was perfectly content not being apart of The Guardians, not until she meet villain Raider Anderson, an all-around badboy who was not only a genius but have amazing powers. Skylar knew that she shouldn't be hanging around the emery but no villain should look that good in a leather jacket!

Lara, Sam, Reyes, and Jonah are finally on their way home when they are told about an opportunity that will change their lives. Lara has had enough of life changing events, though she goes along with it. She has a gut feeling nothing can go right, can she be right? Or is she just paranoid?
