A country on the brink of civil war and Nori is caught in the middle. Noreena Phillips, daughter of retired general turned rebel leader Edward Phillips, has found herself behind enemy lines after her town was raided. To survive, she must keep her wits about her and keep her head down lest she start a war. Nobody knows her true identity and she intends to keep it that way. That is until she meets Rylan Fields, the youngest captain in the history of Rezantri's army. Rylan rescues a beaten and battered Nori from the raiders that stole her from her home and brings her back to the military camp where he resides. While she regains health, Nori tries to keep her distance, but a persistent Rylan is determined to dig into Nori's past. He is suspicious of the supposed 'farm girl' but Nori's lips are sealed. Will she be able to keep her secret and make it back home safe? Or does fate have something else in store for her?

My aim is to write and fill in the gaps from (Spoiler Alert) the moment Ana, the Late Richard Croft's lover who appears in Rise of the Tomb Raider, is shot dead up until the point where Lara and Jonah set out for their next adventure which are the events portrayed in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I want to capture the events and emotions that Lara is going through after her ordeal and how she is copying with everything that is going on around her. This will be my first fiction piece as my previous experience has been writing memoir-styled books on past experiences so hopefully I don't completely butcher this!
