Mikoto Misaka is back at Mount Justice, and everything is normal...well, as normal as it gets for a powerhouse Kryptonian-esper living a superhero life with her messed up friends. And with Batgirl's refusal, comes a swift invasion of Academy City by the Knight's personal highly trained militia, and the Arkham Knight seeks now to obtain a certain magical set of Grimoires to use in his vengeance on Batman. Can Mikoto defeat the Arkham Knight? And just who is this strange man, who seems to know so much about her and Batman?

American Politics takes a startling turn as one of the candidates starts to move against allowing any form of alien life on Earth, making things hard for Helen and the Plumbers based in the United States. Overall it's a scramble to keep things in order after a deadly war, while everyone asks themselves the same question: Are Ben and Mikoto truly dead..? And if not.. where are they!?
