After a horrible incident regarding the deaths of four of the elements of harmony and princesses, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were now in charged of ruling the kingdom. Not knowing much about royalty, Rainbow Dash tries her best to be a good ruler. As she proceeded with her royal duties with her pink friend, their relationship began to evolve into something else as they learned more about each other. What Rainbow Dash doesn't know about Pinkie is her biggest secret. It wasn't just her real name but it was much much more. What happens when Dash starts to lose her feelings for the party pony? What happens when she catches feelings for somepony else? Warning: May contain violence, swearing, death, gore, a suicide attempt and a little bit of SoarinDash. Everything's perfect in Ponyville. A little too perfect to be true, almost as if it was only the quiet before the storm. And then it is suddenly shattered. Five previously oblivious ponies each receive a note on their door that ruins everything. After that, everything spirals downhill and within a year, Twilight finds herself left with nothing but memories of her beloved friends. Applejack commits suicide for mysterious reasons, casting a dark cloud of guilt over her friends. Fluttershy develops an eating disorder and even stops speaking for a while. It gets to the point where the idea of eating sickens her, and getting out of bed is a chore. Rainbow Dash spends every morning at Fluttershy's bedside, and when she still has free time she starts to lose it. Rainbow takes on as many extra shifts as possible to keep herself too busy to think, and starts to function on less than two hours of sleep. It would be less if it weren't for the worries of a certain pink friend of hers. Pinkie Pie starts to believe that faking a smile is the new norm. She works so hard to make everyone happy she forgets what being happy is like. The only time she ever hoped to relax is ruined when her weekly playdate with Dashie becomes a daily struggle to keep her best friend from neglecting her needs. Rarity watches as her closest friends fall apart and quite literally cry themselves to death. Pretty soon she's the only one left, aside from the immortal princess who couldn't die if she tried. She and Twilight are forced closer and closer together, until Rarity wakes up one day and realizes the bookish pony is her best and only friend. She has completely lost contact with the world outside the bubble that is her relationship with Twilight. The moment Rarity ventures out into society once more and finally starts to put her life back together, she is diagnosed with a terminal illness. Little is known about it other than the fact that it can end in nothing but death.

The Mane Six are trying to defeat Starlight Glimmer once again but when she mysteriously goes into a mirror they try to follow...but something goes wrong! They try to get back to the way they were, but they need to work together more than ever...can their friendship survive?

Pinkie has been missing, her friends talk it down to her just going on an adventure, all except Rainbow Dash. She knows Pinkie would never leave without telling somepony. This is a re-telling of the meeting of Rainbow Dash & Pinkie Pie and it involves romance so it is labled as that and this was originally named Another Pinkie Dash Story

A side story set in the "Who We Become" series. When Rainbow agreed to go on a date with Pinkie, she had some mixed feelings about it. Pinkie was one of her best friends, and they always had fun together. On the other hoof, Rainbow didn't usually like to date her friends. Still, it was just a casual date, and they were going to the Spitfire 500, one of the biggest aerial racing events of the year. How bad could it possibly be? Oh, and there was also the teeny tiny fact that Rainbow had never been on a date with another mare before. * * * "Who We Become" is a realistic romantic drama series focussing on queer characters. People sensitive to queer issues should take caution before reading. * * * While not a full collaboration, Mind Jack did write some scenes I was struggling with, and this story is better for it!
