After The Dazzlings are booed off stage from The Battle Of The Bands they go on a little adventure to filled with many new experiences. Adagio separates from Sonata and Aria in hopes of getting her pendant fixed. Along her way an unexpected girl decided to help her. But, why is this girl so familiar? What is she up too in her hidden room at Crystal Prep Academy? And just why does she insist on helping the lead siren so much?

"So you want to turn this into a real battle of the bands? Then let's battle." (Y/N) Dazzle, her sister Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze, and Sonata Dusk have been forced to start a new life in South Korea after being banished to a different universe. A universe with demons and demon hunters. Seeing that this new place has magic, the girls plot to take control and use their alluring voices to make everyone do their bidding. But when (Y/N) meets the Saja Boys, she can't help but begin to fall for them. It turns into a battle between the Saja Boys, Huntrix, and the Dazzlings. (Y/N) isn't supposed to like the enemy, after all this truly is a battle of the bands.

The Dazzlings have been defeated, their powers stripped away and their status as Equestrian beings revoked. After they stumble off the stage to escape the wrath of a booing crowd, the full weight of their failure crashes down on them. Luckily, they still have each other. Oh, fair warning, this particular fanfic contains some strong language, and some characters' personalities/normal actions have changed slightly. (yes, this is an Equestria Girls 2: Rainbow Rocks fanfic) Also, this is my first time writing any X Reader fanfics, yay!! I read a lot of X Readers, but I've never written any before (even though Absolute Simp (my MD FF) is technically just an X Reader with a set name), so I thought, "Hey, why not try sth new?" Y/n always thought she was just a (not all that) regular student at Canterlot High. But that all changed when she and her friends arrived... (Sorry, this might be cringe, idk.) So, it's basically where The Rainbooms were driving out The Dazzlings with the Equestrian Magic of Friendship Beam, right? Yeah, so, here, the beam is WAY more powerful, and was basically going to kill The Dazzlings, but...uh, nvm, I don't want to give spoilers. ADDITIONALLY (AND THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT'S ABOUT THE "Popularity Swap AU"), the Rainbooms are slightly more popular at school than the Dazzlings in this AU (because the Dazzlings aren't really the evil ones in this story ;3). *P.S.
