Susan Weathers was taken in by the Noceda family after she had mysteriously lost her parents. She had never played with magical animals or people like herself. She'd never ridden a flying staff in the middle of a game. She had never played a magical instrument, meeting witches, or adopted by a witch. All Susan knows is a quiet life at Gravesfield. But all that is about to change when she had found the same exact portal that her younger cousin, Luz, had went through. She meets a powerful and rebellious witch named Eda Clawthorne, a demon warrior named King, and reunites with her outgoing cousin, Luz Noceda. To sum it up, Hunter gets cursed and has to hide it from Emperor Belos, but one night while on a walk he bumps into a very familiar human and her Owl mom. Will they find out his secret, will they help him? Or will they leave him in the hands of the Emperor, only to be treated like a monster?
