What is a killer, if he never wanted to slay? What is the difference between good and evil? A manipulator, and a lost soul? Perhaps that can never be answered, for in this book lies a heart made of gold. The bloodied hand of a killer. Just not from the paw you'd expect. (This is a rough draft for the blurb. The (hopefully) final version is coming soon! (-ish) And a new chapter is coming soon too; although school has taken away my motivation for this book, so it might be a month or so until I get chapter 3 published.) ***I may delay the release for Chapter 3 to some time in the summer. I am occasionally editing the already published chapters, so be sure to look back every so often! Semi inspired by The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer (I only reccomend those who have played Rainworld/know about the lore of Rainworld read this book. Although, there /are/ many sources on yt, Google, ect. that can help you to understand the lore/gameplay better. Even without the necessary context, though, I'll try to make this a memorable book!) This is an Artihunter (Artificer x Hunter) fanfic written in an anthro AU with lots of fluff. The cover image is not by me and of course Rain World is not by me.

They have to face strange new creatures and harsher conditions than their own home. No one's here to guide them and protect them. They may never make it out but they can try and hope. Hope may even fade away into nothingness in this harsh landscape.

an iterator called TPU was tasked with creating purposed organisms and giving them to his creators, however he kept some of them in a ecosystem where he watched over them. one of the creatures he created was a slugcat, which he took a bit of an interest in after seeing them. You can choose the color of the slugcat if you want, to make it more inmersive you know.

From the death of his father to surviving, this is a slugcat's adventure in RAINWORLD.
