I did research on Domestic Violence for my apprenticeship and found out some shocking statistics. I wanted to raise awareness for this so I tried to write a poem. 112 Women a year are murdered from Domestic Violence and 30 men. This is a true story is about a little girl who is Sexually assaulted who then gets extreamly depressed and is sent to a behavioral health center. Where she is locked up in there for 19 days. Then she gets out and is arrested only to be shipped of too another behavioral health center where she is there for 9 more days, then she is flown half way across the country to a stranger's house where she tries to commit suicide at.
