What's wrong with me I wrote a Ralph x Jack From Lord of the Flies Someone kill me

This is a oneshot for a few friends who also read the Lord of the Flies book. Characters and plot belong to William Golding. Don't ask me why there even is fanfiction out there about this, the only reason I could have would be because shipping.

" it wasn't the beast, nor the fire, nor any other danger exposed to them on the island. it was them that tore each other apart. " To Ralph, Jack is different trom the other boys. His idea of vulnerability, his piercing blue eyes, like ice on his fingertips. His savage tone, aggressive nature. It's something Ralph doesn't understand, especially after discovering their state of being isolated on an island. So why does Ralph always come back to him? What is it about his nature that drives him closer?

Takes place right after the ending of the book, as everyone gets escorted to the ship. it turns out they have to spend some more time together as it's unsafe to go back, but enemy forces have also seen the smoke and have been drawn to the ship. Now what? Dunno if anyone's actually gonna read this. If not it's okay, I just need self satisfaction due to the fact that the ending is sad... also this will be Jalph but it's a looooonnngggg process of their relationship to go back to at least normal. >:)

Ralph x Jack where Ralph = Romeo Montague and Jack = Juliet Capulet omg this has probably been done before but if not here you go ahhh enjoy this little Jalph fic. They try to avoid each other, but they just can't stay away, it's as if it's fate.

As an insomniac and destined high school dropout living a pretty much completely uneventful life, nothing was ever colorful in his eyes. My take on what happened to Jack and Ralph after they were rescued in Lord of the Flies.
