Kris had always had an odd life. Being the only human child in a land full of monsters and magic, they have explored the Dark World and defeated its cruel King. However, things aren't over for Kris..... When they accidentally teleport themselves to a new world in a prank gone wrong, they find themselves in a weird land, one filled with strange objects, monsters Kris has never seen before and lots of violence Befriending a trio of criminals, Kris has to fight their way home, will they survive? Or will Nevada be their final destination?

What if Kris opened a dark fountain and entered the dark world when they were much younger than they were in canon? what if Kris didn't want to leave? that's the route this story takes. Deltarune does not belong to me. it belongs to Toby Fox

I have no idea if this is original I was just playing the game and randomly had an AU idea- THE COVER IS NOT MY ART (idk the artist I just found the image on Google ._.) anyways into the actual description: this is an AU where before the spamton NEO fight Susie and Ralsei are too late and spamton absorbs kris's soul, this is told from Kris and spamtons POV! kinda similar to that one AU (I can't remember the name ;-;) where sans absorbs the human souls and you get to see them interact I guess- I'm just waiting this for fun and I just thought if I'm gonna write it might as well share my idea! forgive me if it's not very good I'm not exactly a good writer- ('-﹏-'；) anyways that's pretty much all!! if I get the time I will do a Q&A!! that's if anyone even sees this anyway- that's about it onto the actual book!

[work in progress] Ralsei spent his entire life in solitude. His only companion: the series of diaries he writes about things that just happen. But now, some very special figures appeared in his life, one in particular he has great interest in. He wonders if his new friend feels the same way, if he even knows what on earth has him so drawn to somebody so different.

Kris is your average person who's also part of this superhero team called the Lightners who save the world in different dimensions from evil dark fountains! Life seems great, but the only problem is Kris can't show emotion! They never even talk that much at all! Sure, they know how to feel it, but it's hard expressing it! Will this be a problem for Kris and their friends? Or...will Kris finally open up to them.

As the title implies, this is a retelling of the game Deltarune in writing form. I will try to make as little changes to the story as possible but do note that if I have changed something, it is because there was no way for me to transfer it into this format. Updates will be inconsistent, however I will try to publish chapters whenever I can. Please keep in mind that I am no expert when it comes to writing so there will most likely be mistakes here and there. Deltarune belongs to TobyFox and I do not claim any of this story or its characters, this is simply a project I wanted to start as someone who is a big fan of the series. Cover art and retelling by me. Enjoy.

WARNINGS: Violence, angst, slight slandering of Noelle (not too bad we have trucies I swear), Aris hating herself, swearing COVER ART IS NOT MINE, CREDITS TO MY FRIEND LZY I DO NOT OWN DELTARUNE CREDITS TO TOBY FOX I hate moving. I hate having to say goodbye to my old house and saying hello to the new one. I hate having to meet new people and make new friends, especially if they're annoying bitches. Who even calls a town Hometown anyways? Whoever named this must be pretty bad with names. I bet the school's just called "school". WHY IS THE LIBRARY CALLED LIBRARBY- On the first day of school, I realise that I'm one of the two human kids in town. Great. And there's a purple dinosaur girl that loves to beat people up. Kris and I go with her to go get some chalk from the storage room, which for some reason isn't tucked away in a creepy corner. One thing leads to another, and now we're legendary heroes destined to save the world from being covered in darkness. All the while Susie's being a dick (not literally) which is strangely hot. She definitely does not find me hot for obvious reasons. Goddamn it why is she so buff. I told myself I'd never feel this way. Feelings are for pussies. So why...why do I feel so safe around her?

The 'fun gang' had made their way to the kings lair, spreading joy in their wake however, they couldn't help but wonder what would happen when they leave the dark world and how they could cope without all their new friends. This story takes place towards the end of chapter one into chapter two, spoilers for both chapters. A Kria x Ralsei story thats likely terribly written

(I WAS VERY IGNORANT WHEN I WROTE THIS) It was just another day in the arby's parking lot, why was there an arby's in the dark world? Idk but kris and ralsei were there, when all of a sudden someone unexpected shows up with their sick skateboard tricks! But also, something more? Find out what that is in this episode of dragon ball Z!

Kris was not always born mute but sometime through their childhood they lost the ability to speak. They learned sign language and used that to communicate with others. until They came upon the dark world, what will happen next? you'll have to read to find out I don't know how long this will be, this is a personal headcannon of mine that Kris doesn't speak much because they physically can't. And majority of the people in the story know sign language to some extent but not all characters do. Also i see Kris as they/them as they're refered to as they/their/them in the game Another thing this might involve chp 2 so beware for spoilers if you haven't seen or played it.
