Their mom's new boyfriend is the most obnoxious human being they've met. He's loud, pushy, and has no sense of personal space nor boundaries. Their mother, once a kind, gentle, empathetic woman, now dismisses Charlie with a flick of her wrist, too busy gushing over her stupid boyfriend to care. Their genuine feelings of upset and isolation is pushed off as "teenage angst" and "being a spoiled brat." It's sickening. Armed with Pokemon their Dad gifted them, their memories from home, and sheer, stubborn spite, Charlie steps into Alola trying to figure out where they belong in a world that keeps pushing them aside. With each island they visit and each new Pokémon they meet, they slowly learn how to stand on their own. How to trust, how to heal, and how to become someone stronger than the pain they left behind. Alola is bright, warm, and full of life. Charlie is depressed, lonely, and trying. Maybe that's exactly why this adventure is going to change everything, for better or for worse. The Perdita Region is a very large region, and hilariously enough, in turn, doesn't has as much of a population as any other region. Although with how desperate she seems, a question often raises whenever one meets her: "Why are you starting at fifteen?" __ PokemonM is meant to be a slightly more mature Pokemon story. No, this doesn't include smut, but rather violence and sensitive subjects relating to abuse, psychological horror, manipulation, gaslighting, and more. This story is not a self-insert fanfiction, and doesn't even include any of the canon characters in the Pokemon franchise (not even Nurse Joy). At the same time, while it does have a made up region, it doesn't have any fan Pokemon. This story features pokemon and information up to Generation Seven. A ralts living in an isolated clan in route 102, decides to visit the human city going against the decision of the elders. Discovering the danger that these people pose to the clan she is forced to formulate a plan to become a Pokemon trainer looking to gain power in the human world to avoid the destiny of the village. What will happen to her? Will she make it? What was her true motive for the start of her journey? This is my first ever fan fiction so you are bound to find loopholes and many gramatical errors. Any feedback given will very much appreciated! (This story has a lot of inspiration coming from Hyphen created by Dermonster, but will diverge in the later chapters of the first part)
