What if Vaidehi had a younger sister?
In Kaliyug, there lived a young girl born into a rich and powerful family. She spent most of her life abroad, surrounded by luxury and comfort. Yet despite having everything, her heart remained kind and full of compassion.
Still, there was always an emptiness inside her-
a feeling she could never explain.
During Ram Navami, she returned to Uttar Pradesh to visit her grandmother and traveled to Ayodhya.
She had heard stories of Lord Ram all her life.
But that day-
she saw His idol for the first time.
And something inside her changed.
A strange pull.
A familiarity she could not understand.
As though her soul already knew Him.
Before she could understand that feeling-
a sudden accident took her life.
When she opened her eyes again, she found herself reborn in Treta Yuga.
She had become the younger daughter of King Janaka-
the younger sister of Vaidehi.
Her name was Chhaya.
But that name held a truth.
Long ago, during another cycle of Ramayan, when Vaidehi had once created a shadow of herself.
That shadow lived in her place and became part of a destiny that was never hers.
After Raghuveer and Vaidehi reunited, that shadow wished for something impossible-
to remain beside Raghuveer.
So fate gave her another life.
This time, not as a shadow-
but as Vaidehi's own younger sister.
Her parents named her Chhaya because they wished she would grow up as Vaidehi's reflection.
While Vaidehi was calm, graceful, and perfect-
Chhaya was cheerful, stubborn, playful, and impossible to ignore.
Yet the sisters loved each other deeply.
Then destiny repeated itself.
Marriage.
Exile.
