Life was good in Redshire, despite having numerous conflicts with the Order of Steel Brothers. When Icarus little brother died 6 years ago, he swore to protect his siblings no matter what. But now that war has resumed, and the fire is blazing as bright as ever, Icarus has to make a decision whether to help Redshire fight or peril, and at the same time... to keep his promise 6 years ago?

For Koyuki Hikawa the wall she built after middle school helped keep those that would use her away, she doesn't care if her intentional isolation gave her the title "The Ice Queen". In high school her only true friend is Miki Azumi, the idol of the first years. Everyone adores her, but only three people know who she really is. Koyuki's life is changed forever after meeting two other classmates, Minato Amamiya and Yota Hino, who also know the real Miki. Yota is kind, protective, and sees Koyuki for who she is. Minato has always been one to tear down the walls of loners, make them open up, feel better, and "fix" them. But he can't seem to get passed Koyuki's, he is intrigued by her wall. When Miki chews him out explaining the Koyuki isn't one of his projects he backs off and let's Koyuki tear down her own wall. As the four friends grow closer, Minato's interest in Koyuki isn't out of "fixing" her but liking her. Koyuki likes him too, but too afraid to admit it. But when Minato's toxic relationship and things said by Miki's younger brother, Yuki, complicates things Minato learns how hard it is to be on the other side and Koyuki has to do something she never wants to repeat.
