Dawn normally rolls solo, getting beaten up by Socs alone and having to fend for herself. That's when she ran into a group of Greasers that she actually took a liking to-especially one of their members-Dallas Winston. Will she be able to stop the inevitable (iykyk) and be the one who gets Dallas? Or will some girl take him away from her? Read Dally's Doll to find out! She was taken away to a foster home, after their parents died, because the jury thought a girl being raised with only males around would be bad. Until the verdict is overruled, and she can come back. After the death of his parents and close friends Ponyboy falls into a depression, his brothers along with what's left of his gang of friends try to help him. But it's hard as they all seem to slowly falling into the same endless black hole that Ponyboy is and as they continue to struggle with social clashes and staying as close as family in times like theses there's only so much a young boy like Pony can take before he's pushed too far and does something stupid and regrettable.

"Sophia, why are you doing this?" he asks me softly. I finally open my eyes and look up at him through my hooded eyelids. "I know that after the alcohol wears off, and I return home that I won't get this chance again," I say. Steve nods and leans down and kisses my forehead. "So for tonight, we can pretend" I whisper, "pretend that my father isn't some jerk who hates Greasers and that we live in a world without prejudice," I say. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sophia is a Soc, Steve Randle is a Greaser.
